Plant the Seeds of Knowledge and Cultivate the Minds of Children
NH Agriculture in the Classroom will come to your classroom and present a one hour, two hour or all day presentation. Choose from topics below or we can customize one for your needs. Programs are modified to be age appropriate and can be offered inside or out, depending on the season. All material can be integrated to fit the current K-12 curriculum framework. Presentation fee for a program lasting up to one hour and 1/2 is $150. Please call for fees on longer programs .
Pre-registration and payment are required 2 weeks in advance. For a custom designed program that fits your current studies, 3 weeks notification is required. Class sizes are limited depending on topic but should be kept to less than 30. We can make arrangements for larger groups or more time. Please call NHAITC at 224-1934 for information.

to agriculture and the food chain. We'll use the study of bees for students to gain an appreciation for the need to cooperate in a social society.
Soil Sleuths Dirt is more than just for making mudpies. Discover what lives below the surface and why it’s important to take care of the soil.

Life on the Farm! Farms are wonderful places to visit to gain knowledge about sources of food and the work of the people who produce it. We’ll meet the animals and people without going to the farm.
Bugs in my Bed, Bugs in My Soup What makes a bug bad or good? How can such a small organism affect the world in so many ways? With hands-on activities we’ll discover the fascinating world of a bug’s life.
Johnny Appleseed, Man or Myth ? The stories of legends are always fun to share. In this program we’ll trace the apple’s place in history and in the future. We’ll explore the orchard as it changes through the four seasons.
Barnyard Buddies
Choose between a general discussion on farm animals or pick one from the following group for a more in-depth study. Sheep, turkeys, beef cows, pigs, chickens or horses.
